About Us
Let us introduce ourselves ... we are Shelley and Lynda ... two friends … two moms ... two grandmas … who are passionate about ‘home’ and family. We are a professional organizing duo, owners of Renew’d Spaces, serving Airdrie and surrounding areas.
From the time I was young I loved design and organizing. Growing up I remember rearranging furniture with my mom, organizing my desk and shelves countless times, redecorating my bedroom, and dreaming of what my future home would look like. I’ve always been drawn to organization and the peace and calm it brings.
Fast forward years later, as a wife and mom of 2 girls (both with chronic health issues), I recognized even more how important organization and routines were for my family. At a time in my life with so much out of my control, I found comfort in the little things … a well organized pantry with shelves of neatly labelled containers … beautifully displayed baskets neatly arranged in my linen closet … drawers and cabinets with bins and dividers that made everything easy to find … it brought a sense of peace and calm to an overwhelmed heart. Many more years later, with the addition of 2 son-in-loves, an empty nest, and the arrival of our first little grandchild, organizing has taken on a completely different form. From event planning for weddings and graduations, to building and designing multiple homes, overseeing kitchen/home renovations, and more recently home staging. I became the friend that everyone called to organize and refresh their spaces. This has encouraged me to take my passion for home design and organization to co-launch Renew’d Spaces. My hope is that I can help people ‘Reclaim’ their time, energy, and space with joy-filled, judgement-free service and have some fun along the way! |
So what finds someone co-launching a professional organization business at 56?
As a mom, grandma, and long time entrepreneur, I found myself in a transition stage a number of years back. It was a time of deep reflection and personal discovery. My love for family and friends, coupled with a strong desire to support and mentor others, soon rose to the foreground. I also took time to grow my creative side, as a painter and artist, finding rest and refuge in my new home. My teaching and business background was one of developing others, creating efficient systems, organizing spaces, all in efforts to maximize potential. So what an opportunity it is to partner with a friend, to organize, and design systems with style and creativity, in the space I love the most ... the home. I’m excited to embark on this next chapter... supporting others in creating space and time to allow them to enjoy life’s most precious gifts... Family....Friends...and The Home.

Shelley and Lynda transformed our kitchen space! We have limited cupboard space and no pantry, making storage difficult. They were able to evaluate our growing family’s needs and adapt the space accordingly! They utilized the space in ways I never considered. Leaving it more functional, accessible and organized! They worked quickly and efficiently, while listening to my concerns. They were a pleasure to have in our home!
